It’s no surprise that the problem of provider workforce shortages coupled with the related clinician burnout experienced due to the pandemic looms heavy across healthcare. The potential fallout is alarming, with a predicted shortage of between 54,000 and 139,000 physicians by 2033. But what can be done to solve it?
 
ABOUT CEO Angie Franks says one solution would be for health systems “to create better systemness and help ease workforce burnout by allowing providers to operate at the top of their license.” Doing so, Angie says, involves implementing technology that not only reduces waste and inefficiencies, but also offers global visibility into capacity at coordinating facilities within their network.
